GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Course

Programme Objectives

Core Nursing Skills

Students are trained in essential nursing skills such as patient care, vital signs monitoring wound dressing medication administration, and infection control, providing holistic care to patients of all ages and conditions

Midwifery Training

It includes training in midwifery to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for assisting in childbirth, prenatal care, postnatal care, and newborn care. This aspect of he program emphasizes the importance of safe childbirth practices and maternal health

Clinical Rotations

Students undergo clinical rotations in various healthcare settings including hospitals, clinics maternity homes, and community health centres.These rotations provide hands-or experience under the supervision of experienced nursing staff, allowing students to oppl theoretical knowledge to real-world patient care scenarios


Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility: 10+2 (Science stream preferred) with minimum 45% marks. ANM qualified candidates can also apply.
